For sales leaders
I love Marcus Lemonis (of The Profit) and the simplicity that he brings to evaluating a successful business and the necessary components: Product, Process, People.
- Do you have products that people want to buy, versus products that YOU want to sell?
- Do you have processes (structures and systems) in place that align with your goal and what what you are out to create or achieve?
- Do you have the right people in the right places for what you need to do NOW?
I was with a showroom recently and while they had the right number of people in place (at a certain revenue level) no one was hitting their levels, and the leader was a good leader for a mature or small business, but what was required was a turnaround style manager, as they were so far behind their target.
Take a look and keep it simple. And if you get stuck or overwhelmed or just unable to be that honest with yourself, call me.
Now, go sell something.
